1st Intercluster Conference on Waste and Advanced Materials
About twenty companies present their solutions at the intercluster on waste and advanced materials.
The facilities of the GPA Innova company yesterday hosted the intercluster day “Opportunities between the waste and materials sector”, organized by the Waste Cluster and the MAV Cluster in collaboration with ACCIÓ and the Waste Agency of Catalonia, which was attended by about sixty people.
On behalf of GPA Innova, Jaume Sallés, Director of Operations; Francesc Rodríguez, director of purchases, and Annaïs Pascual, director of research and CSR, welcomed the attendees, while the Cluster Managers of the MAV Cluster and the Waste Cluster, Ona Bombí and Carmen López-Quintana, introduced the session .


Subsequently, a total of 21 companies presented challenges and solutions in the fields of waste and advanced materials:

The second part of the day consisted of the holding of five intercluster connection tables (plastics, organic, construction, metals and textiles and fibers), in which the participants could exchange their ideas and interests and, finally, take a guided tour of the GPA Innova facilities.
